Mit Hilfe von u. a. des FB FHB der DGUV und des DIN-Normenausschusses Feuerwehrwesen (FNFW) hat die Berliner Feuerwehr einen Prüfnormenvergleich zwischen Filterschutzmasken FFP2 nach EN 149 mit chinesischer Norm GB 2626-2006 (KN95) durchgeführt.

Eigenschaften
Die Schutzmasken FFP2 (EN 149:2001) und KN95 (GB 2626-2006) sind für den vorliegenden Fall (SARS-CoV-2) gut miteinander vergleichbar. Das fragliche Aerosol (SARS-CoV-2) ist nicht ölgebunden und wird daher von beiden Masken gut abgefangen. Sie schützen vor Tröpfcheninfektionen, da sie individuell an die jeweilige Gesichtsform angepasst werden können und entsprechende Filter integriert haben. Zusätzlich wird von ihnen ein Großteil des Gesichtes abgedeckt.

Characteristic
The protective masks FFP2 (EN 149:2001) and KN95 (GB 2626-2006) are well comparable for the present case (SARS-CoV-2). The aerosol in question (SARS-CoV-2) is not oil-bound and is therefore well intercepted by both masks. They protect against droplet infections, as they can be individually adapted to the respective face shape and have integrated appropriate filters. In addition, a large part of the face is covered by them.
Anwendung
Der Benutzer der Maske muss zur funktionsgerechten Handhabung unterwiesen werden.
FFP-Masken schützen nicht gegen Gase und Dämpfe.
Der Sauerstoffgehalt in der Atemluft muss mindestens 19,5Vol.% betragen.
Der Atemschutz darf nicht eingesetzt werden, wenn Konzentration, Art und Eigenschaft der Schadstoffe nicht bekannt sind. Die Maske ist sofort zu wechseln wenn sie beschädigt ist oder der Atemwiderstand ansteigt.
Niemals Veränderungen an der Maske vornehmen.

The user of the mask must be instructed on how to use it correctly.
FFP masks do not protect against gases and vapors.
The oxygen content in the breathing air must be at least 19.5 vol.%.
Respiratory protection must not be used if the concentration, type and properties of the pollutants are not known. The mask must be changed immediately if it is damaged or the breathing resistance increases.
Never make changes to the mask.
